Under the motto Summer 2017 "A Festival rhythm", with a view to the edition of the twenty-ninth International Festival of Youth and Students, from July they will organize activities in 20 nightclubs, 46 restaurants, ten playgrounds, Cafes and provincial plazas.
Rafael Rojas Velásquez, specialist of the Group, reported that 11 areas will operate in Guantanamo municipality: Reparto Obrero, San Justo, Cocos Norte, Caribe, Amusement Park, Pastorita, Oeste, Centro, Sur Isleta, Sur Hospital and Paraguay.
He added that varieties of canned and bagged juices and soft drinks, sweets, sandwish and foods for immediate consumption and to carry in boxes will be offered.
In the case of nightclubs, Cuban and international cocktails will be offered, rum drinks and beers, accompanied by live or recorded music with groups contracted by the territorial directorate of Culture.
Regarding the summer season in areas affected by Hurricane Mathew, the specialist said that the vast majority will give their usual benefits to the population in rivers and beaches, both in Baracoa, Maisí and San Antonio del Sur, only to the bathing area of Yateritas will not be added due to poor construction and environmental conditions.
Rafael Rojas Velásquez affirmed that of the 64 homes of the province, 23 will offer service during Summer 2017, which will allow to guarantee comfortable accommodations to the Guantanamo.
In addition, the project aims to continue the Guantanamera Noche project, to support with better and more stable supplies to the carnivals, as well as the activities of the provincial event prior to the International Festival of Youth and Students, where local delegates will be selected.
