Captivating more followers every Sunday afternoon, consolidating a different style in radio, as well as informing the Guantanamo residents about the products and services of the Provincial Branch of Arts and Literature Promotions (ARTEX) are some of the motivations that marked the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Cubano y Punto Radio Program, of the CMKS Broadcasting Station.
Maria de los Angeles Gonzales Feria, manager of ARTEX in the province, acknowledged the effectiveness of this communicative product, an initiative by Felipe Aguilar Velazco, promoter of the agency, who through this program informs its regular audience about the different night spaces in sites like El Yunque in Baracoa, Patio Sandunga, La Guantanamera and Cafe Concierto America, in the capital city, among others.
At the studio theater of the radio station, the audience, coming from different locations in the Cuba´s easternmost province, came to the city of Guantanamo to celebrate along with the radio team, renown by the high quality of the Cuban music proposals.
With the music of Tumbao del Monte changui group, pertaining the ARTEX excellence catalog, as well as traditional and contemporary themes performed by renowned artists of the island, the celebration for the five anniversary was broadcasted live, followed by several listeners in the eastern region.
