The central remarks will be made by José Ramón Machado Ventura, second secretary of the Party Central Committee and a vice president of the Councils of States and Ministers.
Cubavisión, Cubavisión Internacional, Canal Educativo, Radio Rebelde, Radio Progreso and Radio Habana Cuba will broadcast the event live, and repeat the recording during the Mesa Redonda news show's customary time slot.
A gala cultural event celebrating the occasion took place yesterday in Pinar del Río's José Jacinto Milanés Theater, at 8:30pm.
