The children of El Patio de Adela socio-cultural project and cultural groups of the genre in the territory such as Obbá Ilú Ará, Akokán Aché and Rumberos del Guaso performed in the popular celebration with long dance and sound demonstrations of how this Afro-Cuban rhythm is assumed in this side of the country.
Also during the encounter the Guantanamo cultural promoter Adelaida Gómez shared the call for the Fifth Community Festival of Children´s Rumba, scheduled for April next year, with the purpose of guaranteeing precursors of this genre in the new generations of the eastern territory.
An emotional evocation of the undefeated leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz with the catá touches and musical interpretations that reverence his imprint distinguished the last stop of the Rumba Route. As part of the 2017 Timbalaye International Festival.
