Engineer Fermín Lobaina García, director of the entity, guarantees that the 23 generator units arranged in the main transmission centers are ready to ensure service for seven days.
In order to preserve the transmission towers and lighten them in the face of the onslaught of the winds, RadioCuba workers proceed to dismantle the parabolas from centers such as La Máquina de Maisí and Los Guineos.
The expert clarifies that this measure affects only the television signal but it is necessary to protect the structures and to restore, after the passage of the meteor, the communications.
