Mayelín Frómeta Alayo, Director of Physical Planning in the municipality of Baracoa, says that in this territory the actions range from the relocation of urban settlements located in risk zones to the opening of economic interest objectives such as the Marabi aggregate deposit, which will supply gravel, stone powder and other derivatives.
According to the specialist, the most important work of this plan is the gravity aqueduct and the water treatment plant that are already built in the city, which respond to a historical approach of the Baracoa residents and will significantly optimize the supply of vital liquid and in line with the settlers´ quality of life.
