"I feel an immense joy to see that serenity, the conviction that we can vote for one, two, for those we consider, but we are all convinced that the united vote is what most strengthens the Revolution," he emphasized.

"And in the same way that candidates are elected, representing the different sectors, and even many more Cubans could be present in those candidacies ... but the important thing is that those who are nominees, are the result of a process, not of individual proposals, or promises or personal campaigns, but all united by the Revolution."

And he continued saying: "It is a very calm, but safe day with a great participation. The people are aware of their vote, of this process, and for that reason I am convinced today we will have another victory for the Revolution. "
