As part of the actions in Guantanamo on the World Water Day, the National Association of Construction Engineers will develop a technical conference aimed at promoting the sustainable management of fresh water in the entities of that sector in the province.
The initiative, scheduled for next Saturday, March 24, includes lectures on the law of land waters, the impact of climate change and the availability of water resources in the territory.
The World Water Day is celebrated everywhere in the world every March 22 to call the attention to the importance of fresh water for the survival of life on the planet and the defense of the sustainable management of this natural treasure.
This year the celebration highlights in a special way the practices that use the potential of nature to overcome the challenges imposed by water scarcity in the 21st century.
