Taco Bay in GuantanamoThe closing of the high season in Guantanamo with more than 5,000 tourists per day, an increase compared to other stages, imposes challenges to increase the offers of the leisure industry in this province for the coming months.

According to Osmany Pérez Sánchez, commercial specialist of the Ministry of Tourism in the territory, among the products planned to integrate the low season portfolio this summer the visits to the Monitongos, Yumurí and Taco Bay, options based on the beauty and uniqueness of the landscapes of the Guaso region are included.

In order to add attributes to the sun and beach traditional suggestion, the manager said that the excursion "Guajira Guantanamera" and the cultural exchanges with the Ballet Babull and the Tumba Francesa dance companies, genuine exponents of the Haitian franc heritage in Guantanamo, are also added.

He also highlighted the efforts to revitalize the services of the camping activities in Cajobabo, Yacabo and El Yunque, the latter benefited with remodeling actions that elevates the comfort of the rooms currently air-conditioned.
