The proceeds exceeded by more than five million the income received during the previous year, Arelis Torreblanca, an official at the National Office of Tax Administration, ONAT, told CMKS.

In this sense, she points out fiscal discipline achieved by social communicators and mixed figures, who complied one hundred percent with the submittion of the document.

On the other hand, the manager of the ONAT, Arelis Torreblanca, praised the good results of the province in the payment of the tax on profits that corresponds to 73 entities, among Enterprises, Mercantile Societies, Cooperatives of Agricultural Production and of a new kind of cooperative.

However, the specialist noted that 273 people, mostly non-state workers and nine artists, were omitted by not delivering the Finance Statement, which means a slight decrease in the figure over the previous year and these people must pay a penalty surcharge for delay.

Compared to 2017, the results in the payment of land transportation tax, popularly known as "la chapa", are also more rewarding, and the term is extended until September.

In Guantanamo, before February 28, 167 taxpayers, 27 percent more than in the previous campaign, submitted the Financial Declaration which meant for these people a bonus for prompt payment.
