To enjoy Cuba the upcoming summer stage, the Cuban Young Communists League (UJC) in Guantanamo already prepares a diverse and attractive program for the recreation for the whole family with the special motivations on occasion of the 60th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, the 65th Day of National Rebellion and the Congresses of the University Student Federation and the Hermanos Saíz Association.
Bárbara Odalis Simonó Brook, member of the provincial secretariat of the UJC highlighted as special moments the concert of the well-known singer Haila María Mompié in Baracoa at the beginning of July and the traditional Political Song Festival that every August summons the Cuban young avant-garde of art through the trova and the verse to remember the Guantanamo martyrs.
She also informed that the summer camps will open their doors to stimulate some 200 outstanding young people in the study and work, in addition to implementing short courses on various topics that encourage learning.
During the holiday period, she said, Guantanamo will host the national competition of the Pioneer Pathfinder Movement while the "José Martí" Art Instructors Brigade will perform at different communities and activate the 50th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution in pursuit of the healthy recreation.
