Lawyers, professors of History and Spanish Language, members of the Cuban Communist Party and the electoral commission, among others, make up the temporary commission for the popular consultation of the Cuban constitution project that will take place from August 13 to November 15 in the Guantanamo Municipality.
Leuriz Bueno Daudinot, president of the Commission, explained that debates will be organized in labor and student centers, agricultural and non-agricultural cooperatives, while in neighborhoods they will held in meetings in the community that should not exceed 100 attendees.
Currently, he said, duos are composed of leaders of political and mass organizations, as well as Law graduates who should conduct the debates and collect all the proposals of the people for the modification of the constitutional project recently approved in the Cuban Parliament.
All the statements and doubts of the citizens, emphasized the member of the Municipal Bureau of the PCC, will be taken into account and will be processed in a Command Post created at the same time as the Commission, which will also have the responsibility of transmitting this information to the parliamentary bodies.
Finally, Bueno Daudinot urged the Guantanamo people to study the current constitution and the project that will be submitted to popular consultation, whose text will soon be distributed to all the neighborhoods through the stands of the Post Office of Cuba.
