Advances in the improvement of facilities, higher level of customer satisfaction and quality of services stand out among the results that place the Provincial Accommodation Enterprise as the best in the Commerce sector in Guantanamo during 2018.
During the last fiscal year, the entity worked with a room capacity of 75 percent, which allowed it to exceed 12 thousand 800 customers and almost triple the average spent time of guests.
Likewise, the accommodation facilities in the territory have improved the application of consumer protection regulations, evaluated by the surveys carried out on the staff's performance in essential indicators such as courtesy, readiness and preparation.
According to official reports, such achievements are the result of objective actions in the refurbishment of facilities, the purchase of furniture, tools and supplies for the care of the rooms and the improvement of the gastronomy service of motels and visitors' homes.
In a year in which the business group of commerce ended with a deficit of more than 77 million pesos, the successes in the accommodation activity are remarkable and ratify that the great weaknesses belong to the network of industrial stores, coffee shops -restaurants and ideal markets that should be eliminated in 2019.
The Provincial Accommodation Enterprise faces a process of recovery from 2017, which aims to raise the standards of quality of lodging in national currency to place their offers among the preferences of the population.
