To improve the legal service in the Guantanamo Province, through practices that result in technical strengthening and better attention from the grass-root, are among the purposes of the workers of the provincial directorate of Justice, which will analyze the work of the previous year.
The Lawyer Liset Castillo Soler, maximum representative of the Ministry of Justice (MINJUS) in the territory told to the ACN, that the meeting will take place on the Plaza de la Revolución Mariana Grajales and will also focus its deliberations on the projections for the current year.
Among them, she mentioned completing the computerization of the civil registry office of Yateras, Jamaica and Maisi, as well as advances the registration process for non-state legal persons, including religious and fraternal ones.
She added that conciliation mechanisms and working agreements will be established with the delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) and its archives, in order to preserve the historical memory.
During the 61st Year of the Revolution, the MINJUS delegation has as a priority to foster a scientific research environment to identify problems and find solutions.
The initiative will involve specialists from the provincial directorate, in partnership with the Legal Research Center of the MINJUS, the Cuban Association of Lawyers in the territory, and the University of Guantánamo.
