Workers in the electricity sector in the Guantanamo Province are committed to advancing in the program of eradication of low voltage lines, an investment process that will benefit several houses in all municipalities and will also contribute to reduce the losses of electricity in the networks.
The project has as a requirement that in each place there are 15 or more addresses, 50 meters distant from each other, and whose legality is endorsed by the Institute of Physical Planning and the Provincial Administration Council.
In those places poles, transformers are placed and in each of the houses they install a meter box, which facilitates that each family really knows its electricity consumption, an advance in comparison with other stages when these teams worked collectively and the service was charged in only one house.
The labor force of the electricity sector in the Guantanamo Province also continues the actions in the network rehabilitation program in various circuits and the support to prioritized investment programs of the economy, aimed at the production of food, the sugar cane activity, the defense and the industrial and commercial sectors.
