The Provincial Radio Festival will be held from this Tuesday until April 12 in Guantanamo in order to reward the best of the varied and informative programming corresponding to the previous year.
Some forty works conceived in the five existing radio stations in this eastern territory are evaluated by a jury chaired by the outstanding producer from Baracoa, Yendri Muguercia, who reiterates the commitment to act in a transparent manner in line with the quality that prevails in the materials presented.
The creators from Guantanamo compete in various categories such as children's, historical, informative and propaganda programs in an event that pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Revolution and is dedicated to the radio women.
The Provincial Radio Festival also conceives other spaces such as the conversation about the history of this media in Guantánamo and the contributions of professionals to it, the workshop "Above the known, there are always new things to say about Martí" and the Communication Strategy to deal with the programming to claim for the return to Cuba of the territory illegally occupied by the USA naval base.
The award gala of the important contest of the Guantanamo radial system will be on April 12 at the Café Cantante América, moment that will mark the beginning of a new stage of work in which journalists, advisors, announcers, program directors and others are summoned to continue seducing the listener.
