After the setting of the Carnival Commission, in charge of the preparation, organization and control of the festivities, Henry Rodriguez Terrero, president of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, urged to work for the celebrations high quality, this time dedicated to 145th anniversary of the Guantanamo Villa´s foundation on the first of December, 1870.
During the Carnivals the traditional dance areas will operate with the performance of local groups and from other part s of the country. The sector of restaurants and cafeteria services, including self-employees will be in charge of the sale of food and beverages.
The achievement of a more attractive design in festivity areas; the keeping of discipline and the city’s cleanliness as well as more efficiency and organization of the workers involved, are requirements to give the Guantanamo working people a Carnival with high quality, said Rodriguez Terrero.
The most famous Cuban festivities, the Carnivals, take place every year in Guantanamo in a show of attachment to the traditions that characterize this city, where color and joy overflow from August 6 to 9, 2015.
