The Cuban Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca checks in Guantanamo the progress of investments and programs of the Food Industry, Commerce and Gastronomy.
On the tour to the Cuban easternmost province, the Vice President of the Council of Ministers was accompanied by a delegation made up by the ministers of Internal Commerce, Betsy Díaz Velázquez; of the Food and Fisheries, Iris Quiñonez Rojas and of Justice, Oscar Silveira Martínez.![]()
In the working agenda in Guantanamo, they included a visit to the Baracoa’s Chocolate Factory, fish unit and the reception center for angula fish, tomato past manufacturing plant and other productions of the Caujerí Valley, in the municipality San Antonio del Sur, the fish fry production center and the areas where the new slaughterhouse in the province will be built.
At the end of his visit, Tapia Fonseca met with the members of the cooperation council of the Ministry of the Food Industry (MINAL), executives and administrators of trade and gastronomy units of Guantanamo.
