Also in the JCCE Directorate, Yudelbis Redó Lescaille, deputy director of human capital, expressed her opinion: “I define this victory as something very important because it proves once again that Cuba is NOT alone, I think there are already so many occasions in which the vote in favor of the Resolution on ending the blockade, that the UN should take action on the matter, assume a position before the imperial arrogance, whose representative takes the floor cynically to lie without looking inside, judges others and he does not expose the reality of his country such as discrimination, mass murders, lack of medical attention to those without income. ”
“We, both in the United Nations and in any other scenario, will continue to denounce the blockade for being unfair, inhuman, cruel, that affects third countries and that with the presidency of Donald Trump has intensified to prevent trade, the entry of fuel into the country and other measures that reflect the desperation to suffocate us, from our position we continue denouncing that policy and through social networks we make known the truth of Cuba, which I repeat is not alone in this battle against the blockade ”.
Cleibis Rivera Arrazabal, a sports sector worker: “I admire the courage of so many countries in the world that defy the pressure of the United States and rise with Cuba, the empire was isolated, only once again, with Israel its unconditional ally and now Jair Bolsonaro adds, but what can we expect from this Brazilian president who left thousands of his citizens without medical care? ”

José Manuel is a self-employed worker in El Zapatón shopping center downtown Guantanamo City: “What else can I say after what has been showed at the UN’s General Assambly?, “Thanks the world, it reaffirms that Cuba is still here, and for many years the United States has not managed to destroy the Cuban Revolution with everything they have planned, then from my Guantanamo I say: Break the Blockade now!”
