Special morning meeting were held in the majority of Guantanamo state institutions, including the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, in rejection of the coup d’état against the Constitutional President of Bolivia, Evo Morales.
Deputies, members of the Assembly and the Council of the Administration in the sixth most populous city in Cuba attended the meeting, in which the workers of the governmental body joined the world protest and warned about the possibility of a massacre against the main figures of the government Andean dismissed, and in particular against Evo.
Rolando Cantillo Díaz, vice-president of the Council of the Administration in the capital the province stressed that in the coming meetings of the delegate's account to his voters, the almost 170 thousand voters of the territory may also condemn the coup d’état.
Exclusively to the ACN, Henry Rodríguez, President of the Provincial Assembly indicated that in these meetings the solidarity and support of the First Anti-Imperialist Trench of Cuba will be showed, with the former president and indigenous leader to whom his citizens owe the greatest well-being known in the history of Bolivia.
“What the South American oligarchy does not forgive is that there is a ruler on the continent who does not submit to the designs of the Empire, the one that tries to suffocate the Cuban people with an economic, commercial and financial blockade during almost six decades, and hypocritically it called itself a defender of human rights,” the deputy to the National Assembly, finally said.
