Kenya Silegas Rodríguez, member of the Provincial Committee of the avant-garde organization of Cuban youth, highlighted the quality of this process that initiated in San Antonio del Sur on October 18 and focused the discussion on the analysis of the running of the grassroots committees as well as the essential exemplarity role of militancy and its combativeness.
The leader emphasizes that in the different territories, the approaches refer to youth leadership in updating the Cuban economic model and the contribution that this population segment can make from each place in favor of the development of the localities.
It also analyzed opinions aimed at fostering knowledge of history as an antidote to face the campaigns of the enemies of the Revolution from a more active and committed presence in social networks.
The recreation of the new generation also motivates the debates in these meetings, which are accompanied by the activation of the so-called Young Zone, a space that summons the whole town to the accomplishment of useful tasks and especially to the recreation.
The young avant-garde in the six municipalities of Guantanamo, where the Eleventh Congress Assemblies of the UJC have already been held, expresses its condemnation of the interference forces of the empire and their solidarity with the just causes of the continent by rejecting the coup in Bolivia and their solidarity with Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva recently released.
They also set up the municipal committees and bureaus and appointed the delegates to the provincial assembly as well as the candidates to make up the Bureau of the UJC in the province.
