According to specialists in the field of industrial maintenance of the Asdrubal Lopez Coffee Processing Enterprise, the equipments come from Austria and replace obsolete machinery, which far exceed in productivity and efficiency.
Each of the new grinders can process 2 to 2.2 tons of coffee per hour (about 1200 cans), a performance complemented with better grain´s shelling, said to Granma Newspaper Pedro Antonio Diego Verdecia expert of that enterprise.
The equipment, supplied with electricity were mounted in the drying centers of Punta de Maisi, Yateras, El Salvador and San Antonio del Sur, the latter without being a major coffee producer.
For the 2015-2016 harvest, Guantanamo will also have a dozen new ecologic pulping plants, which amount 30 of the existing ones in the province, which are characterized by the increasing pulping quality, the water saving and no pollution of the environment.
