The House of History in Guantanamo programmed Wednesday, at four in the afternoon, a meeting with retired Brigadier General Francisco Gonzalez Lopez, called by Raul Castro as the "Legendary General Pancho," who is visiting these days the province.

                    

The House of History in Guantanamo programmed Wednesday, at four in the afternoon, a meeting with retired Brigadier General Francisco Gonzalez Lopez, called by Raul Castro as the "Legendary General Pancho," who is visiting these days the province.

In the meeting with the Hero of the Republic of Cuba, scholars of the Medical Sciences School and of the rest of university campuses of the province will be present, as well as supporters and fellows of the Cuban fighter and environmentalist.

According to the program, the Provincial Book Centre will undertake an extension of the sales of  the book Pancho, El General de las Montañas (Pancho, the General of Mountains), published by the Editorial Verde Olivo at the International Book Fair, for those interested in getting a copy.

Pancho, in his capacity as Assistant Researcher at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, held meetings with coffee and cocoa growers in the areas of the program Plan Turquino, where he left his mark as a fighter of the Second Eastern Front Frank País and then as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture.
