Accompanied by the authorities of the mountainous municipality, the party leader visited vegetable plantations where he knew about the cultivation of these crops in every season, with the aim of maintaining variety of products in agricultural markets throughout the year.
Another entity visited by the Guantanamo authorities was a small farm product of a collaboration agreement with LABIOFAM and the agricultural sector, the latter unit with more than 2 thousand hens producing 50 thousand eggs per month on average to support egg production in the municipality and the province.
In the Chapala 1 Pumping station Legra Azahares checked the progress of this project to supply with water the 189 hectares of vegetables, grains that are part of the municipality´s Development Plan.
He likewise was concerned about land preparation for the cold season, during which farmers in the municipality of Salvador hope to plant 50 hectares of tomato, 106 of beans and the remaining 33 with other foods, a plan confirming this area as the main production center in the territory.
