The Doctor of Sciences called students and teachers to maintain the positive results achieved in the last academy year regarding the improvement of teachers, the academic services to institutions and companies in the territory.
With the presence of Fredy Vega Sánchez, a member of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party, the rector of the University of Guantanamo, also pointed out to consolidate scientific research projects related to Agricultural and Educational Law, as well as other issues, with universities in Angola, South Africa, Venezuela and Brazil.
The University of Guantánamo Tuesday welcomed about 428 new students from regular day course, divided into 20 groups of 31 degree courses studied at the university campuses.
About 246 middle-school-students, divided into 17 university groups, which have the material base as notebooks, pencils, t.v. sets, videos and other teaching aids that will raise their preparation, are also received.
