According to Marrero, Canada, U.K., Spain, Mexico, France and Italy are the leading source of tourists to the Greater Antilles, and reflected on the efforts of the nation to improve the offerings in the island's most popular travel destination.
A recent report by the National Bureau of Statistics and Information (ONEI) issued that in the first half of 2015, 2, 194, 134 visitors that represent an increase of 17% compared to last year, arrived in this Caribbean archipelago.
