The Center for Information and Technology Management in Guantanamo organizes the TECNOGEST Workshop to be held from October 22 to 23 at the Plaza Mariana Grajales Square of the provincial capital, in order to discuss the current challenge on local development as a current challenge, innovation and their impact on this program as well as intellectual property.

During the meeting activities like professional panels, research presentations, conferences about adaptability to climate change, communications in the business field, computer applications and new technologies for socio-economic plans of the territory are carried out.
The works awarded for their relevance and contributions will be sent to the organizing committee of the International Congress of Information Sciences "INFO 2016" for its possible admission to the scientific agenda of the forum, an aspiration of all participants.
Parallel to the event in the Cuba´s easternmost region, the organizers will mount a Fair-Exhibition, in the premises of the event, so that the information centers, research and production entities as well as distributors can promote their lines and services.
This time participants in the Guantanamo Tecnogest workshop institutions are ARTEX, Provincial Branch of Science, Technology and Environment, Alto Serra Coffee Processing Enterprise, Special Services and projects related to the scientific development, whose workers are motivated by enhancing strategies and commitments in these sectors.
