Rossel Rodolfo Salas Primary School of this city hosted the main activities for the commemoration of Camilo -Che Meeting that began Thursday in Guantanamo and in the whole country, an important moment in which students become pioneers moncadistas and say for first time the slogan, We will be like Che.
During the ceremony of joining the Pioneers organization, they receive the blue scarves from their parents and teachers and express firmly slogan that Cuban pioneers raise to pay homage to Che, a paradigm that guides them in their training.
The provincial president of the pioneers, Maria Caridad Soto, said that the performance of the craft ceremony replicated in the more than 500 children groups in the eastern territory, is a timely occasion to convene students from first to ninth grades to participate in the provincial contest "The Flower of his Smile", dedicated to Commander Camilo Cienfuegos Gorrearán, whose physical disappearance is remembered every October 28, as the meeting dedicated to these two great heroes of history culminates.
The leader also said that in this context pioneering exhibitions of interest clubs, camping activities and meetings with fighters who were with Che in the Congo, among other initiatives that highlight the virtues of both revolutionaries are also carried out.
