Grain collection is better in areas of Mandinga, Cabacú, Paso de Cuba, San Germán, Capiro and Veguita Amarilla, which are traditionally coffee-producingareas and so far ensure the pulping of 84 percent of stockpiledcoffee grain.
For this harvest, the workers received specific resources, which together with the increase in the price of coffee can, provide incentives to improve the quality of work being done in the coffee plantations.
Baracoa has an estimated collection of nearly 12,000 cans of coffee for current harvest to be completed before the end of this year.
