The Romerias de Mayo Festival displays today here the photographic exhibition "Fidel, hombre que trasgrede el tiempo," to honor the legacy of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution on his 90th birthday.

Professional dance scene that has existed for more than two decades in Guantanamo is led by three well-known companies: Danza Libre, Danza Fragmentada and Ballet Folklorico Babul, to which the young dancers of Médula are also included.

The 17 de Mayo Cooperative, will host Wednesday the ceremony commemorating the 35th anniversary of the second visit of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz to the Caujerí Valley, a Guantanamo agricultural emporium dreamed by the historic leader as Cuba´s  productive garden.

Long live workers! It is one of the slogans that Guantanamo workers took in the May Day parade, in which it is proclaimed their support to Fidel Castro, Raul and the Revolution for the more than 50 years quests.

The union gains of Guantanamo workers are remembered this May Day, the International Workers' Day.
