Meetings to study documents which will be submitted to the Communist Party of Cuba 7th Congress for consideration and approval begin today in all of the country’s provinces.

The urgency to hire more than 85 percent of production in all organizational forms of agriculture that includes the leasing of lands , and straighten the crooked path of store, was highlighted by Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, the Second Secretary of the Central Committee the Communist Party of Cuba.

Fumigation of more than 700 schools in Guantanamo is among the main measures taken by the education sector to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito, the transmitter of diseases such as dengue, chincungunya and Zika virus.

Gladys Bejerano Portela, Comptroller General of the Republic of Cuba,  urged in Guantanamo to work with more rigor and professionalism so as to increase the economic performance of the territory, while summarizing the balance system for the audit last year.

More than 2,000 health hearings are taking place in the Guantanamo neighborhoods over the next 5 days, as part of the actions to respond to the call of the President of the Councils of State and Ministers Raul Castro, to face the current epidemiological situation.
