Cuba denounced here that despite the new scenario in the relations between the island and the United States, the strengthening of the blockade remains in its financial and extraterritorial dimension.

Nearly a dozen community units pertaining to the Pharmacy Enterprise in Guantanamo province have been benefited so far this year with repair and maintenance actions with the primary objective of achieving excellence in services.

The Cuban Five -- Gerardo Hernandez, Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez -- will visit Ecuador next week, according to Cuba's Embassy in Quito.
