Delegations from Cuba and the United State conclude today here a round of talks on the restoration of diplomatic ties, a meeting that sparked off expectations to announce progresses in the bilateral scenario.

Accompanied by the top authorities of the territory, the member of the Political Bureau knew that over twenty million pesos were invested in the construction, repair and maintenance of the network of aqueducts and conduits in the province of Guantanamo, to improve qualitatively the water supply.

 The Cultural Society "José Martí" of Guantanamo has its first Marti Family Club- "Mano de Valiente," consisting of eight followers of the National Hero of Cuba.

Metrology, science guarantying measurements in production and services processes, contributes to the development of Guantanamo province as well as its economic update, said experts at the Standardization Office on the occasion of the Metrology World Day, celebrated on May 20.

Delegations from Cuba and the United States are putting the finishing touches today on a new round of talks, scheduled for Thursday in this capital, to advance in the reestablishment of diplomatic ties.
