The unanimous claim of the Guantanamo women for the freedom of former Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva transcended during the provincial celebration for World Rural Women's Day, date that every year seeks to raise awareness among governments about the need to empower women in the agricultural sector.
With the purpose of socializing the most innovative products and services offered by the DESOFT Territorial Division in Guantanamo, this entity held its ninth meeting with clients, in pursuit of business development and computerization of society.
Guantanamo celebrates the World Rural Women Day with greater empowerment of the women who live in the mountains and contribute to the development of the province, as part of the Cuban updating -social-economic model.
A congratulatory message was sent to the Guantanamo people by Rafael Pérez Fernández, first secretary of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) in the province for his response from each trench to the fuel deficit as a result of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States government.
The Guantanamo farmers will get ahead with initiatives and a lot of work in the face of inclement weather and the restrictions caused by the resurgence of the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba.
