Guantanamo Prepares Popular Consultation for Constitutional Reform
Lawyers, professors of History and Spanish Language, members of the Cuban Communist Party and the electoral commission, among others, make up the temporary commission for the popular consultation of the Cuban constitution project that will take place from August 13 to November 15 in the Guantanamo Municipality.
With the commitment to continue the socialist social project, the Guantanamo people remembered the Day of National Rebellion during the provincial act that took place in the Niceto Pérez Municipality.
Motivated to increase the labor movement leadership, in Guantanamo the workers carried out to date more than 400 assemblies previous to the XXI Congress of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC, in Spanish) with a wide participation of the members, who expressed concerns and also suggestions in order to contribute to the solution of various problems.
