Yesterday September 24, constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros departed for his homeland from José Martí International Airport, where Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of Cuba's Councils of State and Ministers,   bid him farewell.

With the purpose of planning the comprehensive development of the territories, the Institute of Physical Planning undertakes an urban planning in the provincial capital and the municipality of Baracoa, a process in which all the institutions will take part.

Cuban president Raul Castro sent a message of condolences to his Mexican counterpart Enrique Peña Nieto for the victims and devastation caused by a strong earthquake on September 19.

At around midnight on September 21, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, received Nicolás Maduro Moros, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at Havana’s José Martí International Airport.

The call for an end to the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed on Cuba by the United States was heard in the 72nd Regular Session of the UN General Assembly, whose General Debate opened on Tuesday, September 19.
