Guantanamo is ready forthe beginning on September 4, the upcoming nomination assemblies for delegates, said Cecilia Vlades Milan, secretary of the National Electoral Commission, after her visit through the province´s ten municipalities checking the progress of the process.

The activities scheduled for September 9 at 10:00am are part of celebrations of the 57th anniversary of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) and will mark the beginning of a series of events focused on denouncing the U.S. blockade, within the country and beyond.
