From a live ovation to the Guerrilla Man, Aleida Guevara March shared with Guantanamo residents the human, political and revolutionary legacy of her father, Ernesto Guevara, during an encounter at the Mariana Grajales as part of the 41st Issue of the Political Song Festival.
At 2:58 pm yesterday the Network of Stations of the National Seismological Service registered a perceptible earthquake, located at 19.81 degrees North Latitude and 75.46 degrees West Longitude, 38 km southwest of the town of Caimanera, in the province of Guantanamo, and 47 km southeast of the city of Santiago de Cuba, with a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter scale and a depth of 46 km.
Guantanamo province complies with the sugar cane plantation plan to date, planting some 1,100 hectares, which are also valid to reach 50 percent of the commitments for this year.
