With science and technological innovation as a distinctive sign, the Sixth Guantanamo INNOVA Fair opens from May 18 to 20,  with a lecture on the legal framework of the law 118 of foreign investment, given by MSc. Luisa Cosme, member of the Delegation of the Chamber of Commerce.

Creativity, participatory games, traditional dishes and traditions will shape the new issues of the festivals that will singify this month the community culture in Baracoa.

On the afternoon of May 11, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, held a meeting with a delegation of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People’s Army (FARC-EP), headed by Comandante Timoleón Jiménez, Chief of staff of the guerilla organization, including members of the FARC-EP secretariat Commanders Iván Márquez, Pastor Alape, Joaquín Gómez, Carlos Antonio Lozada, Mauricio Jaramillo, Bertulfo Álvarez and Ricardo Téllez.

This Saturday 13 at five in the afternoon, the areas of José Martí Park in the city of Guantánamo, will become a huge honeycomb with the performances of the children of the Colmenita Company, who will play stories, songs and poems to celebrate the International Mother’s Day.
