The recognition of 16 communication, construction and transport staffs with the "Proeza Laboral" flag, as well as the tribute to dozens of workers who worked during the recovery proccess, following Hurricane Matthew, are some of the achievements that mark the commemoration in Guantanamo of the International Proletariat Holiday.
The Guantanamo dance will celebrate on the 29th of April the International Dance Day, with the ceremony of the Provincial Elfriede Mahler Dance Award and the Honorary Award granted to dancers, choreographers and other creators of this art with an outstanding work during the previous year.
The Brazilian theologian Frei Betto concluded his tour to Guantánamo in the community of Guayacán, in the municipality of El Salvador where he exchanged with settlers, leaders of mass organizations, pioneers and farmers of the Longino Riveaux Credit Union.
Tens of thousands of state and non-state workers committed to production, efficiency and the Revolution will march in Guantanamo this May Day, with the conviction that the Cuban people will success in their project for a prosperous and sustainable socialism.
"One of my dreams was always to visit Caimanera and the other to see that piece of Cuba recovered by the Cubans," the Brazilian theologian Frei Betto said in Guantanamo during his keynote speech at the Guaso Theater.
