The Bolivarian deputy to the National Assembly of Venezuela (AN) Tania Diaz stated today that the position of the new president of that body, Henry Ramos Allup, is the result of a misinterpretation of the Constitution. During his speech on assuming the presidency of the National Assembly on Tuesday, Ramos Allup announced that one of his first actions will be to promote and materialize the removal from office of the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro.

In this regard, Diaz stated in an interview with a private television that under Article 5 of the Constitution sovereignty resides in the people, so any process must go through popular approval likewise it is stated at the Constitution that the any revocation must be activated by the masses.
The deputy for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) also lamented that Ramos Allup order to withdraw from the parliament building the pictures of Simon Bolivar and Commander Hugo Chavez.
The opposition must read very well the mandate given by the people with their vote on December 6, I do not think it was to remove Chavez's figure or dismantle everything that has been achieved, she said.
