Cuban Sport Officials Start Visit to the US

A group of officials from the Cuban Institute for Sports, Physical Education and Receation (INDER) headed by its president, Antonio Becali, is starting a 6-day visit to the US, as reported by the Cuban Foreign Ministry in its official website Tuesday.

The visit responds to the interest by institutions from Cuba and the US to increase the links in sports, and permit the Cuban delegation to expose the features of its sport system.

Invited by US organization Hibernian Celtic Athletic Fund (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) the Cuban delegation is composed by sports officials and members of the Cuban Embassy in Washington.

The program includes activities in Washington and exchanges with authorities and institutions in the city of Pittsburgh.

Also, there will be visits to sports installations and dialogues with specialists, athletes and officials.
