Ambassador Ronald Godard, and Cynthia Ryan, special representative to the 71st General Assembly, signed the book at the diplomatic headquarters.
US President Barack Obama conveyed on Saturday his condolences over the death of Fidel Castro and hoped that the relations between both countries will keep progressing in the upcoming years.
