The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, received today a Cuban delegation led by the Head of the International Relations of the Cuban Communist Party Jose Ramon Balaguer.

Prensa Latina news agency reported that the Vietnamese leader said this visit will contribute to the strengthening of bonds between the two countries, peoples and parties.
Balaguer conveyed to his host greetings from the First Secretary of the Cuban Communist Party, President Raul Castro. He also highlighted the importance of a theoretical seminar held between both parties on the construction of Socialism in both nations.
The Cuban visitor held talks as well with his Vietnamese counterpart Hoang Binh Quan and visited the headquarters of the Parliament.
