It transpired during the Provincial Plenary to check activities prior to the celebration of the World Proletariat Holliday in which the organizers confirmed that the parade will begin at seven o'clock in the Plaza Mariana Grajales with the unionists of Education, Science and Sports.
Dennis Legrá Azhares, First Secretary of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) in Guantanamo said that this will be a big parade and called for mobilizing neighborhoods in order to achieve mass participation of all workers, retirees, housewives and people in general.
The 1st and 2scd of May, the traditional Guantanamo night and cultural and recreational activities in the main plazas of communities are also planned.
In the Provincial Plenary to check the May Day activities, it was ratified the commitment of workers to demand an end to the economic blockade against Cuba and the unconditional support of every Cuban to the Revolution and the ideas of its main leaders Fidel and Raul as well as the agreements adopted at the just-concluded seventh congress of PCC.
