More than 900 professionals from 17 countries attending the 2nd World Congress of Economic Management and Development are discussing today some 80 papers on public finance, local development, cooperatives, audit and internal control.
The challenges of the state Cuban company and The cooperative credit in Spain: Analysis of the efficiency of its concentration models in a bank consolidation, are among the works to be discussed.
Related to the application of information and communications technology, about 15 works will be analyzed, among them The Cuban biotechnology innovation and Application of knowledge in effective practices of prevention and detection of the managerial fraud.
Regarding to the aspects related to the support to business management, no less than 10 papers, including: The budget: An integrating plan and a coordinator so small and medium companies work successfully, From financial scandals to the managerial social responsibility at consulting and auditing houses. A view from the Cuban reality, are also under discussion today.
The event is being held since Monday, May 16, at the Conference Center in Havana. It comprises four meetings: The 4th Congress of Public Administration for Development, the 10th International Meeting of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, the First Congress on Management and Business Management, and the Third Congress on Cooperative.
The program also includes the presentation today of the journal of economics, from four Cuban institutions related to that discipline.
The forum is organized by the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba. This organization brings together more than 80,000 professionals in the country.
