Cuba´s Vice Minister of Health Alfredo González finished today in Kuwait a tour across Gulf countries after exploring new areas of cooperation and review the functioning of bilateral projects.
Before returning to Havana in an interview with Prensa Latina, Gonzales stressed the separate meetings with Kuwait's Health Minister Ali Saad Al-Obaidi and Vice-Minister Khaled Sahlawi, where they evaluated the perspectives of expanding collaboration.
In addition, the Vice-Minister visited the Dasman Institute for Diabetics and met with a team of experts developing the Heberprot-P project.
He described as very satisfactory the results of the treatment with the Cuban drug, and reviewed cooperation with the specialized institution, particularly with the joint research project launched in November 2014,with health care and rehabilitation treatment.
The Cuban official also visited the Advanced Technology Company accompanied by Cuban ambassador Andrés González Garrido, and discussed the possibility of doing businesses with authorities.
