he Secretary of Commerce of the United States, Penny Pritzker, started a wide two-day program in Cuba, said the Cuban Foreign Relations Ministry. The worki visit includes a meeting with the minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca.

She will also tour the Special Development Zone of Mariel, among other places of economic, historic and cultural interest.

The Secretary of Commerce will inaugurate the meeting between the Treasury, Commerce and State Department of the United States and representatives of several Cuban ministries and enterprises.

Among the officially announced purposes of her stay, are to exchange about the reach and limitations of the measures recently adopted by the U.S. government to modify the application of some aspects of the blockade against Cuba.
