The Broadcasting Convention Cuba 2015 begins today its theoretical spaces with keynote speeches such as that of the president of the Telesur television network, Patricia Villegas, a chain that is celebrating its 10 years of existence.

With the paper "The news signal of Latin America, our north is the south," the Colombian journalist will present the experiences of that media dedicated to convey an alternative vision to the big transnational news.

More than 35 countries are participating in this forum at the Conference Center in Havana, unique in the world where public radio and television stations converge, according to its organizers.

Among the speakers are the general secretary of the Ibero-American Educational Television Program, Alberto Ferrer, and the president of the Community and Alternative Media Network of the State of Anzoategui, Venezuela, Jesus Rodriguez; among others.

During the event, new technologies will be presented, and its expo-fair will be an opportunity to update the investment process of the Cuban Television, focused on completing the transition from analog to digital high resolution signal.

Until October 30, the convention will bring together about 250 experts and more than 100 foreign delegates.
