More than a hundred people a month are treated by the provincial clinic of this specialty in the Agostinho Neto General Hospital, Javier Azahares Perez said, who is the Provincial Director of Health in the province to discuss the achievements of territorial program to increase the use of so called green medicne, acupuncture, mud therapy and homeopathy.
A larger number of patients are healed with type of health techniques in consultations, emergency unit, and specialized treatments of acupuncture, analgesia and surgical stomatology where this year there have been more than 80 extractions by acupuncture.
The official added that there are three centers of local production and 24 pharmacies in the territory that manufacture products of Natural Medicine that include syrups, tinctures, creams, oitment made with natural essences, which plants are grown in the Guantanamo mountains.
